Experience an unforgettable ski touring adventure in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Far away from crowded resorts, a harmonious blend of scenic summit ascents, silent winter landscapes, and cozy alpine hospitality awaits you around Davos and the charming mountain village of Monstein.

Throughout the week, we explore varied ski tours leading through peaceful valleys, across sunlit ridges, and onto panoramic peaks with breathtaking descents in powder snow or spring snow.

From the very first step outside the Hotel, beuatiful ski touring terrain awaits. Endless route options combined with lift-assisted access allow for spectacular summit experiences and long, rewarding descents day after day.

This trip is ideal for ski tourers who already have off-piste experience, feel confident in deep snow, and are looking for inspiring alpine terrain combined with comfort and great food.


Day 1 – Arrival at Monstein 

Individual arrival in Monstein (1,626 m) and check-in at our cozy base accommodation.


Day 2 Fanezfurgga

Day one features a classic ski tour from the hotel to the Fanezfurgga 2579m, an ideal warm-up with stunning alpine scenery and a memorable opening descent. Avalanche safety training is included in this day.

Day 3 – Classic Tour in the Sertig Valley

Following a short transfer toward the Rinerhorn area, we approach the idyllic Sertig valley and ascend to the impressive Gfroren Horn (2,746 m).
Wide open slopes and spectacular alpine scenery make this one of the true highlights of the week.

  • Ascent: ~1,050 m | Descent: ~1,700 m

Day 3 – Panoramic Peaks & Lift-Assisted Start, Mederger Flue

After a short transfer to Davos and a lift ride to Schatzalp, our tour begins toward Latschüelfurgga and continues to the summit of Mederger Flue (2,674 m), offering magnificent views across northern and central Graubünden.
We then climb once more to Chörbschhorn before enjoying a long, rewarding descent back into the valley.

  • Ascent: ~700 m | Descent: ~1,550 m

Day 4 – Classic Tour in the Sertig Valley

Following a short transfer toward the Rinerhorn area, we approach the idyllic Sertig valley and ascend to the impressive Gfroren Horn (2,746 m).

Day 5 – Grand Finale on the Büelenhorn

Our final summit goal is the beautiful Büelenhorn (~2,807 m).
Starting directly from the hotel, we follow gentle alpine terrain past historic huts and sunlit slopes to the summit ridge. The breathtaking panorama and one of the finest descents of the week provide a perfect finale.

Day 6 – Departure

After breakfast, individual departure—returning home with lasting memories of powder snow, alpine silence, and inspiring summit experiences.

  • 🎿 Requirements & Equipment

    Participants should:

    • Have prior ski touring experience

    • Ski confidently in off-piste and all kind of different  snow conditions

    • Bring avalanche safety equipment (transceiver, shovel, probe)

    • Possess good fitness for ascents of 700–1,200 m per day

    Equipment rental and safety refreshers can be organized on request.

How to get to Monstein (Davos):

Monstein lies in the canton of Graubünden, and is easily accessible car or by public transport SBB. Find the public transport timetable here.

If you’re traveling by car from Zurich, take the A3/A13 motorway (follow the green signs) towards Chur until reaching Landquart. From Landquart continue on canton road 28 to Davos Klosters. Pass Davos and after 5 more minutes you will reach the Rinerhorn cable car station. From there it’s a 10 Minute drive to our Hotel Ducan in beautiful Monstein. Free buses can take you from the Hotel to Rinerhorn cable car and back. 

If you’re coming from the South trough Vereina tunnel

The RhB transports you and your car quickly and safely through the Vereina. In this way, Autoverlad Vereina creates a safe connection between Klosters and Unterengadin.
