Daily Itinerary Everest Dingboche Trekking Nepal
Day 1 – Kathmandu Arrival
Arrive in Kathmandu, trip briefing, old town walk, and welcome dinner.
Day 2 – Kathmandu Exploration
Discover Kathmandu Old Town and visit the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa.
Day 3 – Lukla & Trek to Phakding (2,600m)
Drive to Manthali, scenic flight to Lukla, then trek to Phakding.
Day 4 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,450m)
Follow the Dudh Koshi River and enter the heart of the Everest region.
Day 5 – Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar
Short acclimatization hike, Sherpa Museum visit, and free time.
Day 6 – Trek to Khumjung (3,600m)
Easy acclimatization trek to a traditional Sherpa village.
Day 7 – Trek to Tengboche (3,860m)
Walk through forests and valleys to the famous Tengboche Monastery.
Day 8 – Trek to Pangboche (4,000m)
Enjoy stunning Ama Dablam views and explore one of the oldest Sherpa villages.
Day 9 – Trek to Dingboche (4,300m)
Enter the high alpine landscape of the Khumbu Valley.
Day 10 – Dingboche Acclimatization Day
Relax in the village or take an optional hike to Chukhung (4,700m).
Day 11 – Trek to Phortse (3,800m)
Follow a quieter trail through authentic Sherpa country.
Day 12 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,450m)
Return to Namche via scenic mountain trails and yak pastures.
Day 13 – Trek to Phakding (2,610m)
Descend through forests, villages, and suspension bridges.
Day 14 – Trek to Lukla (2,860m)
Final trekking day back to the gateway of the Everest region.
Day 15 – Fly to Ramechhap & Katunje Village
Flight from Lukla and visit a traditional Nepali village homestay.
Day 16 – Bhaktapur & Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu with a visit to the medieval city of Bhaktapur.
Day 17 – Pashupatinath & Free Time
Visit Nepal’s most sacred Hindu temple and enjoy a free afternoon.
Day 18 – Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Fitness & Difficulty
Moderate Trek | Maximum Altitude: 4,300 m
This trek is suitable for active beginners with good fitness and some hiking experience. Expect to walk 3–5 hours per day on mountain trails with regular ascents and descents.
Participants should be comfortable:
- Hiking several days in a row
- Walking uphill with a daypack
- Exercising regularly before the trip
As the trek reaches high altitude, proper acclimatization is built into the itinerary. No technical climbing experience is required. We recommend 6–8 weeks of preparation, including regular cardio exercise and hill walking before departure.
